Welcome to my blog! I want to share my epic journey to discovering healthful and flavourful food while living gluten-free and with severe food allergies. Navigating shopping and cooking has always been a challenge for me. Actually just getting into the grocery stores with fresh fish markets was dangerous. I once left a grocery store by ambulance because the fresh shrimp sent me into an allergic reaction. I want to share my success stories so others can avoid the pitfalls and challenges related to shopping and cooking healthy gluten-free and allergy free meals.

Hello Everyone, my name is Kathy. My story is very simple. My family and I have so many allergies (eggs, fish, shellfish, nuts, peanuts, legumes & dairy) and specialty diets (I have Celiac Disease) that I have become a master at shopping and preparing food. I feel more educated about food and ingredients than I do with the university degrees I hold. I cook with wholesome ingredients, gluten-free, nut and peanut free and dairy free for most meals. And my meals are delicious and praised!
